Windows Media Player not working with Firefox over HTTPS

Tech-Archive recommends: Repair Windows Errors & Optimize Windows Performance

Error: "Windows Media Player cannot play the file because the specified
protocol is not supported."

I am getting the error on the Firefox browser only. It seems that it
does not supporting Windows Media Player files over HTTPS. I have
tried using the classid="CLSID:22D6F312-B0F6-11D0-94AB-0080C74C7E95"
and classid="CLSID:6BF52A52-394A-11d3-B153-00C04F79FAA6" in my OBJECT
tags. The code works fine on Internet Explorer.

Has anyone run into this? Any help is much appreciated.
