FIRST check the setup file: C:\windows\wmsetup.log Then look for ANY lines
that contain the entry: ERROR:

WMP 10 which i used to have on my comp recently stopped working and when i
opened it it just said 'an internal application error has occured' so i
downloaded the WMP 11 beta software and installed it but the programme
still
wouldnt open, so i followed the instructions in the FAQ for uninstalling
WMP11 and now when i try to install WMP11 again it says at the end of the
setup programme
'it was not possible to complete setup. click on the button to get web
help.
windows Media Player 11 was not installed. to update windows run WMP11
setup
again.' but however many times i run the setup it comes up with the same
message!?
Please help me !!!!
