WMP11 BUG: Advanced Search doesn't work with ANDs

The Help file indicates syntax for this under the topic "How do I
perform advanced searches in Windows Media Player?"
I tried the following searches and got no hits where I expected hundreds.
artist:vangelis composer:vangelis
albumartist:vangelis composer:vangelis
also tried the AND versions:
artist:vangelis AND composer:vangelis
albumartist:vangelis AND composer:vangelis
The OR version appears to work.
artist:vangelis OR composer:vangelis
.
