Do they work if played back from your local hard driver as opposed to from
the Internet or email?

Hello
Im new to this group & need help badly on two errors I've been receiving
on
the windows media player 10 version. When I receive certain mpeg files
from
friends in a sent e-mail, many times I get the error listed in the
subject, I
know the files are valid & the url is correct because they can open them,
but
I always get the error message (0xC00D1197) this doesn't happen to all the
mpegs or vids I receive, but many I receive this error message.
I have windows xp, sp2
IE version 6
new computer
DSL connection
running spysweeper, microsoft anti-spyware, & trend micro-pc-cillin
internet
security
Ive checked all my settings in options on the player, but couldnt find
anything to maybe correct it. All file extensions are selected.
Please help, if you can......
Thank you & forgive me if I've not posted correctly in this forum.
