Win2k, WMP 9.0
I only have WMP on this PC, had WinAmp, RealPlayer on my old one
(offline)
Can I alter the website used to check for CD album info.
I expect they all use a different one, and it would seem to be
sensible that if the default one doesn't have info about my cd, it
would be worth checking the others
I download WinAmp - it got the data from CDDB, then slowly I pasted
the track info into WMP
There must be a better way surely ?
1. You can always just type the information in.
2. If you've downloaded the data via WinAMP into your files' ID3 tags, then WMP will read the data into its database from there. Of course you have to be wary about having multiple programs monitoring and updating your media files as they will fight over the data. An offline backup is *strongly* recommended.
