Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry

Do you get the chance to send up an error report?

I have a similar problem, my media player comes starts ok, but anything I
try
to play in it no matter what it is or where it's at (CD, DVD, or on my
Hard
Drive, Playlists don't work either) results in the following message
(copied
from event viewer)

Application popup: Media Event Sink Window: wmplayer.exe - Application
Error
: The instruction at "0x45c7c033" referenced memory at "0x45c7c033". The
memory could not be "read".

I have tried to reinstall it (doesn't work) to fix it. I haven't got a
clue
why it just quit working. I didn't install any codecs or other software,
it
just quit. I've tried running Anti-Virus, Registry Cleaner (Reg Seeker),
Spybot, Adaware, and they all come up blank as for an external reason it
won't work. WMP is the only program on here that won't work too.

I have been searching for the answer on here and can't find it. I used to
use my media player for everything. I love it and want it back. I've had
to
resort to using Nero player since and it works perfectly, but I don't like
it
as much as my media player. I don't have the $35 to email Microsoft, can
someone please help!!
