Just run: "regsvr32 jscript.dll" and that 260 entry should be restored.
Does that help your error?

I,ve looked in the registry...and mine appears to have a line
missing...{f414--260...I,ve got f414 261 and f414 262 but this line
appears
missing on my machine. I've compared my home machine with that at work and
the line has definitely gone...I am sorely tempted to somehow cut and
paste
the missing registry line from my work machine to my home machine..but
with
all the dire warnings about registry editing it very scary...is there
anything that can be done..

Its driveing me crazy, I've spent countless hours going through the faq /
trouble shoot sites with no luck.
All I get when I click on wmp is 'an internal application error has
occurred'
Any help would be greatfully received.
