Re: Media Center - like, GUI program...?

Thanks for the info...
I don't have an Xbox, and I don't play games...
Linux is out of the question. since I play windows files all the time with
various
codecs.

For now I came up with an original solution like this:
My computer has 3 screens attached. On one of them I have the Magnifier
stretched to fill up the second screen as well as it can, along with the
on-screen keyboard. All I need is the wireless mouse to control everything.
The magnifier follows my cursor on the programs I point to on the first
screen, so I can use actually any normal program from afar using this
configuration.

If I start a video I watch it on the center screen - full screen.

I think that this solution is better that having a media only GUI. For
example I can read a PDF or send an email. :-) Perhaps later I can
experiment with a wireless keyboard and voice control of windows (dragon
point and speak & wineyes).

The ultimate solution would be a projector, projecting the screen on the
ceiling...
;-)
