Re: Cannot install WMP 10 -- there is no error indicated

Well I am having a similar problem.
I try and download wmp10 and I get a pop up saying
"windows media player is not installed properly and must be reinstalled.
Would you lilike to install from the Microsoft Website"
does anyone have a clue what to do.
Im running winxp home sp2.
This occured after a security update.
FYI my windows picture viewer is also a mess.
