Yes, there are options in WMP9 and 10 to retrieve album information
from the internet. If you go to Tools -> Options -> Library :
Check the "Retrieve additional information from the internet" box
"Only add missing information"
"Rename music files using rip music settings"
In addition, it's usually worth checking that Tools -> Options ->
Privacy has the "display media information from the internet" and
"update music files by retrieving media info from the internet" are
also checked,
If you find this doesn't work, you may be being blocked by company
Firewall or, more likely Proxy policy (post back here for suggestions)
