Problem that I cannot stream video. I can stream MP3 songs using Windows
Media Player 10.

Subject: Error Message for Windows Media Player 10 C00D1198: Cannot connect
to the server
CPU: 0.15.772x2@3214 : Intel
Operating System: Windows XP SP:2.0
Orb Version: 1.00.0560
System Status: On
I formatted my hard drive and reinstalled all my software. When Windows
Media Player asked me to upgrade to Media 10 - I did. I've installed Windows
Media Player 10, and after that I've had problems.
- Using XP Pro
- Reinstalled Orb
- Music files play using Orb
- View Photos
Everytime I try and access my video files I get a error message.
Solution?
Thank you.

C00D1198: Cannot connect to the server
Windows Media Player cannot connect to the server hosting the content that
you want to play. You might encounter this error message for one of the
following reasons:
The name of the server hosting the content is not valid. If you typed a
Uniform Resource Locator (URL) address in the Open URL dialog box, verify
that the file name is spelled correctly and that the path to the file is
correct, and then try again. If you clicked a link on a Web page, the link
might not be valid.
The server is not available (for example, the server is busy or not online).
Try again later.
The proxy server settings for Windows Media Player are not configured
properly. Verify that your proxy server settings are correct.
Which video file formats (Mpeg-1/2/4, DivX, xVid)? Divx
Can you stream WMV at all? Yes, can stream my MP3 files from my computer.
Can you stream Internet TV? Can watch the TV programs you have displayed on
the Orb webpage, like Saudi TV stream.
Recorded TV? Don't record TV
Do you have all the codecs installed? Yes, tried playing Divx files on my
computer.
Did you try from another location? Tried from another location, friends home
and it didn't work. Gave me the same error message (Error Message for Windows
Media Player 10 C00D1198: Cannot connect to the server). Also tried using
another computer in my house and received the same error message.
Maybe this additional information would be helpful:
If you do not know what your proxy server settings should be, on the Network
tab, select a protocol, click Configure, and then select Autodetect proxy
settings or Use proxy settings of the Web browser (available for HTTP
protocol only).
Error ID = 0xC00D1198, Condition ID = 0x00000000
Web Help
Reinstalled Divx, but still doesn't stream video.
