Sound Card installed?

My sound card, according to Everest is 'SiS 7012 Audio Device' I think, or I
think it may be 'nVidea GForce 4 MX 440', or is that just the graphics? Lol,
but for some reason I seem to think this is the sound aswell?!? But anyway, I
have problem with the card, although I downloaded something (a driver or
something??) off some website, and I got a program: Audirack.exe and
SiSAudioRack.m3u and the uninstaller Unaurack in same folder, which I
downloaded. When I run the Audirack, with a CD in drive, it works, with
speaker jack in the port on the CD Drive, but not in the green port on the
back of the PC. I'm confused, because I don't seem to be able to hear sound
in WMP and on the Internet, do I need to configure settings, or re-install
the sound card? P.S. I don't have the Sound Card CD!!. Also, I don't have a
yellow speaker in my system tray, like I used to before I had to re-format C
Drive. Could anyone help with this problem? Also because my sister keeps on
going on at me about wanting to listen to music online, and I want to again.

I was told to download SiS SiS7012 Audio Driver v1.12a Windows
9x/ME/NT4/2000/XP/Server 2003 from
http://www.opendrivers.com/driver/218846/sis-sis7012-audio-driver-v1.12a-windows-9x-me-nt4-2000-xp-server-2003-free-download.html
and here's what I did after download:

Control Panel>Add New Hardware>Next>Next(Is the device you want to install
listed below?)>No, Next(Do you want windows to search for your new
hardware?)>No(I want to select the hardware from a list)Next>Scroll down to
sound, video games and controllers>Double click>Press ‘S’ to scroll to S’s
quickly, first under ‘S’ is Manufacturers- ‘Silicon Integrated Systems,
Models- ‘SiS 7012 Audio Driver’,>Next(The hardware you are installing is Plug
and Play compatible. To install…click next>Next(Please insert disk labelled
‘Windows 98 Second Edition Disk’>OK>(The file ‘sis7012.cat’ on Windows 98
Second Edition CD-ROM cannot be found.)Skip File>Copying Files Box and
pop-up-(Please insert the disk labelled ‘SiS 7012 WDM Driver Disk’, and then
click OK)[I don’t have this disk]>OK>(The file a3d.dll on SiS 7012 WDM Driver
Disk cannot be found. Insert the disk and click OK>Skip File>Skip File>Skip
File>(Windows has finished installing the software necessary to support your
new hardware>Finish.

But nothing else happens! Still no sound from WMP, I also tried online music
and that doesn't seem to work either. 'Error Sorry, media playback failed.
Error Code: 14 - C00D11BA' I don't know if this is because of the soundcard,
or not.

If you could help me with this problem, I would be greatfull. Thanx in
advance.
