Problem with hearing mp3

My WMP version is 10.00.00.3646, and my OS version is Windows XP Professional
Service Pack 2. The problem is that yesterday i was listening to my mp3 and
everything was fine, and today when i tried to do the same it isn't possible.

WMP opens the mp3, and it seems that the music is played but there's no
sound at all. It happens to all my mp3. However if I try to listen to them
with other player, it works perfectly - I tried the AssusDVDXP (it's a DVD
player that came with my graphic card) and I had no problem at all. I didn't
dowload anything nor installed anything, it just happen from nothing.

please help me, If you can.
