Windows Movie Maker Error

Tech-Archive recommends: Repair Windows Errors & Optimize Windows Performance

I am trying to capture video stream using Movie maker but it always
gives me "unknown error ocurred". Whereas, I am successfully able to
capture it using Ulead from Creative.
W We are using Creative's Extrenal Soundcard KS550. The setup is
something like this:
DVD player from Samsung is attached to KS550( Video In, Line in,Line
inOut). KS550 is attached to PC using USB port. The enumeration is
proper. Movie make is able to recognise the device. but when We start
capturing it just gives " Unknown error ocurred".
We even tried capturing with GraphEdit using the exposed filters in
driver, and it works.
Does any one have any clue of what might be wrong???
