RE: error message

I was getting the c00d277f error message too. Most of my music was
downloaded from MusicMatch and I got the error with both MusicMatch and
Windows Media Player 10. I recently had to have my mother board replaced and
after reading all the posts about this message on these boards and the link
that Todd provided to the Knowledge Base article, I think that was what
caused it. Anyway, I was able to fix the problem by using directions to
rename the DRM folder that I found on MusicMatch's website. Maybe this will
help you too. I'm running Windows XP and here's what I did:

I set my folder options to show hidden folders and unchecked the button next
to "Hide Protected Operating System Files (recommended)". Then I went to
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users and found the DRM folder. I renamed it
DRMBackup. I then reset the folder options back to their original settings.
Then I started MusicMatch and played one of the songs that had been
triggering the message. I was prompted to reacquire my license. All the
songs seem to be working now.

HTH.
