Help please my WMP cant play webcast lectures

Dear All
I have problem with my wmp 10. Whenever i tried to play online webcast or
click on any video file hyperlink i will get this msg:
"Windows Media Player has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are
sorry for the inconvenience"
It will prompt me to send error report. After i clicked "send error report"
or "dont send", wmp10 will shut off. I also get this info but i do not
understand what they are:
AppName: wmplayer.exe AppVer: 10.0.0.3802 ModName: unknown
ModVer: 0.0.0.0 Offset: e8505100
Can anyone tell me what the info above means?
Where can i find the error Id of my problem?I tried to follow what the MS
webpage says but my error msg didnt have the web help option for me t o find
out the error id.
Can anyone pls enlighten me? help pls!!
