First I suggest you research the error thorugh online
as thoroughly as possible and possibly you will learn the correct codec and
where to find it. That is what i would do. Then you can look for other players
such as DIVX which used to have a free one . But last time to get the free one
I had to play with the source code in their website to get the URL to work.
None of these people will make it easy for you unless the source of the program
from which you got the file to play will tell you exactly what it is.
They are all trying to make money off you and it is your job to
keep as much of it as you can.
Here, Knowledge is power and there is little you can do but spend
hours of reasearch time running things down.
If you are lucky you will hit the jackpot telling you what all the
different kinds of MPG or AVI or WAV files there really are and where to
find the various players. The name of this game is time and tenacity.
Good luck because I can not give you the time necessary to research this problem
any further.
1. Determine File Type to play
2. Make a list of all players you can find that create or play that filetype
3. Start experimenting to find the right Codec and Player.
4. maybe you will get lucky and maybe you won't
sort of like trying to find a mate in a sea of enemies.
Until Next Time
