You may not be correct. Your rights with regard to the songs are governed entirely by the license you have. If you want to 'own' the songs, buy the (physical) CD.

Umm.. I'm not sure..? I have bought the tracks from a reputable website, as I
mentioned previously. I presumed that I now 'own' the tracks and can transfer
it to my MP3 player (or indeed a CD)? Am I correct??
