WMP 10 streaming fails on all websites.

I don't know if this is coincidence, but I can no longer stream ANY video in
IE shortly after installing the latest round of Windows Updates. I cleared
my browser cache and tried multiple websites. For instance, the following
windows media streaming content fails to start:
http://news.zdnet.com/2036-2_22-5604857.html
http://4kids.tv/shows/videoplayer.php?show=foodons&speed=112&episode=101&
I've seen either error code 0xC00D1199 for embedded content on websites or
0xC00D11BB for content that opens Windows Media Player directly.
I see a number of other people are having the same problems as of the past
couple days since the latest round of Windows Updates, so I'm fairly certain
I'm not alone and that there is a strong correlation between the two. I've
only installed one piece of software in that timeframe, but I am confident it
has nothing to do with this problem because there was no problem after
installing and before the reboot (I had the Updates queued up for the reboot
part before installing the new software). The following updates were
installed:
Security Update for Windows XP (KB893066) - Successful
Windows Malicious Software Removal Tool - April 2005 (KB890830) - Successful
Cumulative Security Update for Internet Explorer for Windows XP Service Pack
2 (KB890923) - Successful
Security Update for Windows XP (KB893086) - Successful
Security Update for Windows XP (KB890859) - Successful
Microsoft Windows Installer 3.1 - Successful
.
