Problem playing a CD through the media player

I was trying to play certain videos through a CD. But when i playback the CD,
i am not able to see the video but sound is audible. The various details are
as follows
Error message ID 80040200
Error message text (Unable to download an appropriate decompressor.)
Windows Media player version 6.4.9.1125
Microsoft Windows 2000 5.00.2195 service pack 4

Can any one give me the solution to this problem?
