Cannot play wmv videos in internet explorer

I try to open sites with videos on Myspace.com and they dont play and i try
to watch videos on Entensity.net and they dont play....error details usually
say "The source filter for this file could not be loaded." (Error=80040241)
or sometimes it says Ran out of memory for error details (dont know error
code). Any help? I have the most recent wmv i think its version 10...thanks
(Videos used to play fine just last week until a few days ago for no reason)
