The tag options are too rigid!
- I set 1000 languages, but an option "instrumental" or even simply "none"
is not available!
- If I type some self chosen caption, Media Player will erase it randomly.
(example: "instrumental" as language tag)
- Why must "English" appear as "en"? I want the freedom to display the way
that suits me, not microsoft. I don't speak 'en', but English.
These are only some of the issues.
By the way, why are there a thousand languages given, of whom many are not
even really existing! This may not be obvious for American users, but really:
Belgian Dutch, Canadian English and Moldavian Romanian are NOT languages. To
include a language as "Moldavian Russian" is even a gross insult to all
Moldavians.
Perhaps Microdsoft thinks it has become too popular?
Finally: nevertheless Windows Media Player gave me enough reasons to swith
from Winamp.
