Aftermy rant above I followed up a clue and checked Registry under
HKLM\Software\Microsoft\\Media Player\MLS\Extensions I found
Name Data
Default (value not set)
m4a audio
mov video
mp4 video
Is this correct?
>From a book in the library I expected to see a heading Type and REG-SZ

Or is this little knowledge being a dangerous thing!!
