Hello all,
I am also unable to play music on my car stereo (Pioneer DEH-P7500MP) that
has been compressed with the WMA 9.1 codec since updating to WMP 10.
I have uninstalled WMP 10 to use WMP 9, but the codec did not uninstall
(it's still 9.1). Looking at posts from other places Steve, it seems that we
are not alone.
I would like to go back to using the 9.0 codec. Where can I get it and how
can I make sure that WMP (9 or 10) uses it? Luckily, the PC my wife is using
still has WMP 9 and is using the 9.0 codec which all works fine with music
ripped with that PC - maybe I can get the 9.0 codec from there.
Many thanks in advance to all who take the time to read and reply.
