WMP10 No CD playback

Recently updated to XP SP2 and downloaded MP10. Plays audio already on hard
disk fine. When attempting to playback CD (in either CD drive), receive error
message the, "The selected file has a scheme not recognized by Windows Media
Player." Same CDs had played fine previously. Any help appreciated. Larry
