Hi Zach,

I have tried selecting "Data CD" and it does not work. It simply says
"Burning in Progress" for a split second then stops. No data is written to
the CD. I can burn Audio CDs to the drive using WMP, and I can create "data
CDs" using RecordNow.

Here is the followup email that I got...

This is Krish, with Microsoft Technical Support. It was my pleasure to work
with you on your Windows XP case SRX041108600791. I hope that you were
completely satisfied with the service provided to you.

It also gave me a person to contact if I was not happy. I emailed him and I
have not heard anything back.

Feel free to email me directly,

Thanks,
Jeff(dot)Friedrichs(at)compaq-dot-com
