Thanks for the reply. I kind of felt that someone would suggest drivers which
is fair enough.
However, I'm a bit concerned about updating. I've been to Creative Labs
web-site & sure enough there are suggested 'upgrades' for both drivers &
Creative Labs' applications. The web-site even suggests automatically what I
should download.
My main concern is that the SoundBlaster Audigy 2 card came pre-installed in
the Dell Dimension 8300 (bought June 2004) which makes it an OEM product.
Creative Labs' website thus suggests going to the manufaturer for driver,
software & hardware related issues rather than downloading from their site.
However, Dell does not have any up-to-date upgrade downloads for the Audigy
2 card & I feel a little uncertain in downloading direct from Creative Labs
for fear of totally 'messing-up' the settings for the soundcard. Some of the
upgrades (automatically) suggested by Creative Labs are supposed to be newer
versions but are out by a couple of digits from the version already installed.
