Error code: C00D11BA
Message:
Windows Media Player cannot play the file because there is a problem with
your sound device. There might not be a sound device installed on your
computer, it might be in use by another program, or it might not be
functioning properly.
WMP Version: 10.00.00.3646
Windows Version: Windows XP Professional [NT 5.01.2600]
I am unable to play any sounds because my computer thinks that I have no
sound driver installed, I have repeatedly attempted to install and update my
sound driver, still nothing. In control panel it also says I do not have a
sound driver installed but on my hardware list it shows all my drivers
installed and working properly. When I login to windows or logoff or an error
comes up it DOES play a sound. Obviously my equipment is working properly,
I use an MSI K7N2G motherboard with up-to-date system drivers. I use Live
Monitor to ensure this. My sound card is onboard so I can't exactly remove
the card and check for dust or faulty connections.
Any help would be appreciated!
