You should be able to sort in the library in a way that would group the
files missing the metadata you want (like artist). Then, edit those files
and select Tools/Process Media Information to speed up the flushing of
metadata to the files. You can also try right-clicking the albums
containing the files and selecting Update Album Info or Find Album Info,
but if the files have poor metadata to begin with the chances of making a
match are slim.

The going through of each file that doesn't show information like artist and
song title when it is playing in media player. I have 32,000 songs and need
this feature.
