Unusual file access problem

I am using WMP 9.0 on a computer running WinXP Home. My
wife and I are the only users of the computer. I have an
administrator account and she has a limited account.

On the computer, the music files are stored in different
subdirectories in the Shared Documents folder (All Users
directory) so we can both have access to the same digital
music files. When I am logged on I can play any music
file. When she is logged on she can play all the music
in one directory but no music in a different directory.
Also, when a Windows Media Playlist file is selected, it
will display all the files it can't play in orange with
an exclamation point in front of them. All of the files
are from the same directory. All the music files are in
the MP3 format and both subdirectories have the same
sharing permissions (as set by me). When she attempts to
play the music in the unallowed directory, she gets the
message "Windows Media Player cannot access the file" and
when more information is selected it connects to the WMP
error center and displays the following:

0xC00D11D2: Cannot access the file
Windows Media Player cannot access the file. You may
encounter this error message for one of the following
reasons:

This file is currently in use. Close the file, and then
try again.
You do not have permission to access the server or other
location where the file is stored. Verify that you have
the appropriate access rights, and then try again.
You do not have permission to access the proxy server.
Verify that you have the appropriate access rights, and
then try again.
If you are trying to copy a track from a CD to your hard
disk, you may not have permission to copy to the
specified hard disk location. Verify that you have the
appropriate access rights, and then try again. If the
problem persists, try copying to another folder.
To change the folder where tracks are copied to

On the Tools menu, click Options.
Click the Copy Music tab.
Click the Change button.
Select another folder in which to store your digital
media files, and then click OK.
-or-

Click Make New Folder, enter the name of the new folder,
and then click OK.

Error ID = 0xC00D11D2, Condition ID = 0x00000000

This happens whether I am logged on or not. No file
copying is being attempted, only playing a simple MP3
file about 2-3 Mb in size.

I have tried changing security and sharing privileges of
directories, subdirectories and individual files all
without success. Why should it play files from one
directory and not another? All files will play fine for
me.

Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you.
