Those 4 or 5 things should not add the ability (or change for that matter)
WMP's ability to play MP3 files. TMK, ZP uses l3codecx.ax to decode MP3
files. This is a standard Windows file, and the links to the filters at the
start of the program will not lead you to a download for it.

What exact were the things you downloads? Still sounds like you might be
trying to play an Ogg Vobris file or some other file encoded with a third
party codec.
