I am trying to watch a soccer game, provided by Yahoo here:
http://sports.yahoo.com/s/soccerpass;_ylc=X3oDMTBpZ3Q5MGw2BF9TAzI1NjY0ODI1BHNlYwNiZg--
I can watch the video on on one machine but not another.
Working Machine:
3GHz Desktop
Windows Media Player 9.00.00.325
Windows XP Home
Home Network / Cable Modem
Not working Machine:
1.5 GHz Laptop
Windows Media Player 9.00.00.2980
Windows XP Pro
Home Network / Cable Modem
ERROR:
I click the "Game Video" link next to the Chicago at Dallas MLS game.
Wait 20 or 30 seconds while "buffering" shows at the bottom of the video area.
Get the following message:
"Windows Media Player cannot play the file. A network firewall may be
prevengint the Player from opening the file by using the UDP transport
protocol. To plapy this file, try opening the file without specifying UDP.
Click the play button to try to reconnect to this stream."
If I knew what this meant, I would try it. Your help is appreciated.
