Finding Missing Album Information

Dear Fellow Users:

Of the 1500-plus MP3's I have added to my Windows Media
Player 9 that have been "Found" while connected to the
internet, several fail to retrieve missing album
information, i.e., "Not Found." Once I manually search,
the album information will appear and be added to the
Media Library just like the "Found" ones. The difference
is that when I try to look at Album Information on the
one's I did manually, no information will appear [and I
am connected to the internet when attempting to view].

I know AllMusic.com [AMG] provides the information for
Windows Media Players, and the information I add to the
Advanced Tag Editor comes verbatim from that source. So
why doesn't the player retain the information the same
way it does for the MP3s that were "Found" automatically?

Please answer this age-old question and fulfill my
curiousity. I thank you in advance.

Andrew
