My error message says, "cannot play back the audio stream: no audio hardware is available, or the hardware is not responding."
This happened as a result of installing Windows XP professional over the Home version. The OS seems not to see the sound card.
Can someone please tell me how to get the OS to "see" the soundcard?
I have tried uninstalling from the device manager, but this does not correct I need drivers for Altec Lansing 221 speaker systems...
