You could try that, although if you have XP I have always
found that a bit of a mess as it seems to install them as
hardware and not in the group headed Audio Codecs. If
youwant to try it, I would advise setting a Restore point
before youdo soyou can roll back you system to the time
before you tried it, just in case.
The only similarity between your file type and mine is
that Audio Sample size is also 4 bit - I wonder if that
has anything to do with the problem.
Sorry I can't be more helpful at this stage but I haven't
found a solution to it yet and it's driving me mad.
