As an MP3 CD? That depends on the limit afforded by your player, and
the size of the mp3 files. I've never hit the file limit for my MP3
player, but I've been told it's 255 files per directory, and since
mine allows subdirectories, this limit isn't something I need to worry
about. As to the physical size limit? If each song is 10megs then
70 songs (700 divided by 10).

As an audio CD, that plays in a regular CD player, then that depends
on the play length of the songs. On a 650meg CD, that's 74 minutes,
on a 700meg, that's 80 minutes. If you say that's 20 songs for your
collection, then I'll take your word for it.

For an audio CD, I think 20 songs is a bit optimistic, but I guess it
depends on the length of the individual songs.

Never used WMP9. But if you want all 170 songs on a CD, you'll have
to burn an MP3 disc (a data disc containing MP3s).

There are many better burning applications. I can't think of any that
are cheapo-ware. If you can afford to buy it, use Nero. It gives
you a good balance between simplicity (in NeroExpress Mode) and
features (in standard mode). It's very popular, and is bundled with
many CD and DVD burners.
