I discovered a better method than your advice. Not that your advice
is wrong or incorrect, it's just unnecessary. I got your player to
work and did not need to uninstall DVD X Copy. I simply moved the DVD
X Copy files to a temporary directory. When Windows can't find the
path of the files, it lets the InterActual Player play the movie. When
done, you just move the DVD X Copy files back. I suppose you could
also just temporarily rename the DVD X Copy directory, that would
probably work too. Again, you don't need to do an uninstall. Hope
I've helped you, as you helped me pinpoint the problem file.

Hello,
This is the reason for the CSS error in our player:
Decoder name: C:\Program Files\321Studios\Platinum\mpgdec.ax
Decoder provider: Moonlight Cordless Ltd.
Decoder type: Moonlight-Elecard MPEG2 Video Decoder
Decoder version: 2.00.0.2510
Decoder driver date: October 19, 2003, 01:09 PM
Navigator name: DirectShow
This is an MPEG codec installed by DVD X Copy, not a DVD decoder like
WinDVD. Since it cannot decode the CSS digital copy protection applied
to video files of a DVD, any player that tries to use Windows DVD
operations (RealOne, Windows Media Player, PCFriendly, InterActual
Player, etc) will experience a CSS-related error while this codec is
installed. Our player's DVD video functions rely on your system's
support for Microsoft DirectShow DVD operations.
Since Windows automatically selects the best decoder to use when a DVD
function is called by our player, there is unfortunately nothing we
can do at our end to fix this problem. This Elecard codec is
identifying itself incorrectly as a DVD decoder, causing Windows to
bypass the legitimate WinDVD decoder. Unfortunately the only fix for
this issue is to uninstall the DVD X Copy program from the computer.
Once that is done then we should be able to pick up and use the WinDVD
decoder files and play video.
I hope this helps!

Title: Terminator 2 Extreme Edition
Region Code: 1
Computer Type: Desktop, MS-DOS or PC-DOS System
Problem: I purchased T-2 Extreme edition just to see the HD (high
definition) version. Your interActual player refuses to function on my
computer. I exceed all your required specs. I have the proper DVD
decoder installed as I have WinDVD 5 installed and it works perfectly.
I have installed the latest patch (version 2.05), but continue to get
error PL 4009. Yet, I have all the correct software and latest
drivers installed. I am using an intel Pentium 4 hyper threading
edition and an ATI 9800xt video card with 256mb of video ram.
Everything works perfectly on my computer except the interActual
player. Is there anything you can do to help?
