I use Windows ME as my OS. I have Windows Media Player
Version 7 (WMP). I have problems making CDs out of songs I
put in my hard drive from other CDs. However, I have no
problem making CDs out of songs I download from the
Internet. I use Roxio Adaptec Easy CD Creator Version 4 to
make CDs. I did not have this problem last year. However,
my system crashed last year and I re-installed all my
software, probably using the incorrect settings on WMP
when I re-installed it. The songs I could not put on my CD
Layout showed up now on WMP as protected. So a couple of
days ago I untprotected them in WMP by unchecking the
box "Enable Personal Rights Management". But I still can't
make CDs out of songs I now load in from CDs. Since I had
no problems last year doing this, I assume the problem is
I must check or uncheck one of the boxes on WMP's settings
(Tools/Options) or somewhere else, perhaps in CD Creator.
Please advise which settings I should change. I feel this
is a settings problem, and there probably is no need for
an upgrade. You can contact me at crspl2000@yahoo.com
