Deleting any keys from the registry is a very bad idea. I still think if
you, say use the File and Settings Transfer wizard in Windows XP then you
will get the data you want and need to keep, while fixing the database
problem. I would give it a shot, even if it doesn't work you still have
your current profile to say on.
If that still doesn't help you will want to ask Product Support, as this
seems to be a one of a kind issue related to your system only.
