Who's to say RealPlayer doesn't have problems? They just don't have public
newsgroups in which you see all the problems. :) Every piece of software
has problems, a large amount of the problems around here are from people try
to play pirated content.

If WMP doesn't work for you and this newsgroups is no help it's always a
good idea to contact product support. I mean if your best friend could not
fix your car would you just go out a get a new one? No, you would ask the
people who know more about it.

I could care less if "you" want to use WMP or not. I try and help the
people who want to use it, or don't know how to use anything else. You are
correct the WMP is not your only choice. ZoomPlayer is one of my other
favorites, and WMP 6.4 can't be beat on older systems (in my opinion)

I'm not knows for dating and/or marrying software products, even if they had
genders. And yes, LAME (Ain't an MP3 Encoder). And LAME doesn't work with
WMP, so if you are looking to use LAME you will want another product.

Don't forget, it has to buffer first.
