Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry

I am having issues with windows media player 10. Each time I'm trying to play
a file from a site, I get the message above. there is no error code and the
message to be sent is :

AppName: iexplore.exe AppVer: 6.0.2900.2180 ModName: unknown
ModVer: 0.0.0.0 Offset: e8505100

with more writings inside. The sites I was trying to access are:
http://www.pulse24.com/In_The_Raw/Raw_Video/page.asp (any of the videos)
http://www.canalplus.fr ("videos" link on the left hand side)

After the message appears, WMP 10 will close. I never had this problem with
other versions before. I even uninstalled and resintallated the whole thing
but without much improvement.

I'll really appreciate any feedback on this. I'm using windows XO with
service pack 2.

Thanks a lot

Cheryl
