Do any of the tracks show up with a red [x] next to them once it's.
complained about being unable to read the file ?
It's possible the file was added to the library (so WMP thinks it
knows where it is) then moved somewhere else that it's not able to
keep track of it - for example moving the file from C:\Documents and
Settings\My Music to C:\Audio Tacks
Are you sure the file is a type which media player can play ? What
happens if you find it in the library and try to play it first ?

ok so i have vista home premium and windows media player although i donno------------------------------------------------
which version of that (i just got the computer and it is only a month old).
anyway i am trying to burn a CD and it wont. i have 19 songs and it totals
roughly 73 minutes of music. it recognizes that i put a cd into the drive
(finally that was an ordeal in and of itself, i had RW didnt like it, and
went out to buy R and i thought that was the issue, wrong) jow when i push
the start burn button it seems to fiddle around for a minute and then this
thing pops up that says "Windows Media Player encountered a problem while
burning the file to the disc. For additional assistance, click Web Help."
with a link to here. it says some of the possible problems could include
(but are not limited too)
-disc may be damaged(brand new not likely)
-select slower recording speed(did it, not helping)
-try different brand of discs (did it again with the not helping)
-quit other programs(nothing else is on, except help now)
it says the error code is C00D0019 = error reading from a file
what does that mean? someone please help me, i'm so computer dumb and this
thing is supposed to be self explanitory, thats what the guy at the store
said.
