preview while fast forward/rewind

Hi!

Is it doable to allow previewing the video while doing fast forwarding
or rewinding of video tape in a DV camera? I'm trying to add this
feature to my Windows Media Encoder SDK based application. The
SetOperation API can do fast FW/RW, but the video would freeze if doing
so.
