Are you any/all using the script data channel in your encoders/writers... ?

If yes, I am trying to correlate an issue we have seen over a period of
time - that causes these odd problems in stop/start encoding - only when the
script pin is being implemented. It is not enought to not send data - the
pin must be unassigned.

Try recompiling without a connection to the script channel - and test your
app - I think you will be pleasantly surprised - however fixing the issue is
not so easy... we need MS to inveatigate why enabling the script channel
causes these silent crashes deep in the ASFWriter.
