Re: WMV - HD High Def, High Quality Windows Media File

Hi,

I used the following steps for a 720p TS source. It possibly works for
1080i, but not for my streams.

1. Convert the TS to DVR-MS using TSConverter. This step just changes
the container format. The elementary streams are kept.
2. Open the DVR-MS file in WME and encode using a HD profile.

The encoding parameters significantly determine the sharpness and PQ.
You have to fine tune to get best results.

I can provide a 720p sample, if needed.
