live streaming and saving to file simultaneously

Tech-Archive recommends: Speed Up your PC by fixing your registry

Hi.
I want to broadcast a live radio event using voice only codec to optimize
bandwidth. I will install Win2003 Enterprise plus WMS9 on a P4 2.4GHz 1Gb RAM.
I want to execute the encoder and the server in the same computer. And also
want to stream the live event and save to a file simultaneosly.
Is this too risky? Should I use 2 machines? Can live streaming and saving
to file coexist in peace?? Suggestions are very welcome!

Thanks in advance
Ramada
