Hello,
Please excuse me if I post this wrong--my first time. I am hoping that
someone can explain to me how to exit one website without completely exiting
from the internet. For example: I access the internet using Internet
Explorer, then I pull up a particular website, then I want to close that
website and go on to another website. The only way for me to exit is to click
on the X at the top right of the page. When I do that it exits me completely
from IE. This is so frustrating---I usually just minimize the website and
pull up the next, but then, I sometimes end up with 10 minimized pages!! Can
anyone help?? I sure would appreciate it.
Thank you,

Try the "Back" or "Home" buttons in the toolbar.

You obviously do not have a Macintosh computer - that is the subject of this newsgroup. Internet Explorer is no longer supported on Macs. But all internet browsers work the same - you might want to try some other ones like FireFox. Check to see if you can set your IE to open a new window for every web site - that way if you close it you just go back to the previous one.
Another thought - you might have closed your tool bars and can't see the Back or Home buttons - try right clicking and see if you can restore the tool bar.
