a new browser. I have internet explorer 5 but thats all and not much will
work. It also has netscape 4.7 and not much workes on there either, can I
upgrade it on 9.2? I cant download Safria either. It says I need os 10 or
above. I do not want to spend money on mac os 10 if it wont work on this
machine. HELPPPPP. Thanks so much mbear41@xxxxxxxxxxx
Hi Mike!
Your machine is supported for Mac OS X, however it will be slow. You can
spend additional money upgrading your Mac with more memory (I would
suggest upgrading to the maximum possible, which is probably about 2GB)
and this will help somewhat with speed.
Or you can take the money you'd spend on Mac OS X plus the cost of the
additional memory and apply it toward a Mac Mini. You'd get a newer
machine with Mac OS X already installed.
Hope this helps! bill
