Hi,
My advice is to avoid using Internet Explorer because it has gone past the support time frame it will not be tracked or updated for security vulnerabilities.
AOL has promised a new version of Netscape, but so far it is only version 7, so I hesitate to recommend Netscape.
There are two excellent cross-platform free browsers. FireFox and Opera. No self-respecting, competent HTML programmer or web page creator should make pages that do not work properly in FireFox and Opera.
Regardless of the browser you select, I strongly advise that you keep it and your operating system up to date so that you have the best chance against problems from security breaches. Mac OSX itself is secure, but unless you have the latest browser updates your browser could be a vector of trouble.
