Hi Barry!
The path to the home folder as specified in the user account on the
server has to be in the form of a UNC path, not a drive letter. It needs
to be in the form of \\servername\sharename\subfolder(s). You can choose
any drive letter to map this to but it will only apply to a Windows
workstation. Mac OS X will not pay attention to the drive letter.
Is "home" the share or is "b.johns$" the share? Try something like
\\servername\home\b.johns$ or
\\servername\b.johns$
